Widespread in the area of Amelia and Narni, its origin is unknown. Vigorous plant, very rustic, it is also suitable for heavy or dry soils. Flowering is medium-late, the fruit that ripens in the second half of August is large with an elongated ovoid shape, with a thick skin and a not dark purple color. The pulp is greenish yellow and not adherent to the stone. It was held in high regard for drying also because of its great flavor and sweetness.
