Rediscovered in the area of Pietralunga. Late flowering and harvested in October, it can be stored for about two months. The fruit is small, round and flattened at the base; the skin remains green even when fully ripe, with numerous visible russeted lenticels. The flesh is white, glassy and rather granular. The stalk is of medium thickness and medium length. A winter variety, it is harvested and then left to soften in the fruit store, or used for cooking.
