Variety belonging to the species Prunus cerasus, widespread in Central Italy. The fruit is medium-sized, spherical in shape, with a short and thick stalk. The skin is bright dark red. The flesh is very juicy, dark red in colour and rather soft in texture. Harvested in the third ten-day period of June, it can be eaten fresh or processed into jams and preserves.
