The mother plant was found in the Città di Castello (PG) area, but it was widespread throughout Umbria. The tree is very vigorous and rustic, with an expanded habit. Flowering is early, mostly in the first ten days of April. The fruit size is medium, with a rounded heart-shaped shape, with absent umbo. The color of the peel is bright red which tends to darken with maturity. The pulp is pink in color, with a tender consistency, adhering to the stone. Good flavor, sweet and aromatic. Ripening is precocious and for this reason kept in consideration but the consistency and earliness make it not very resistant to transport.
