Rediscovered in the hills of the Upper Tiber Valley, its origin is unknown. The fruit ripens in the first ten days of October and has excellent keeping qualities. It is round in shape, slightly pointed at the calyx end. The skin has a yellow background with pink streaks across the entire surface and is covered with a light bloom. The flesh has an excellent flavour and is highly aromatic.
