Originally from the Cesena area, it was known and described since the beginning of the last century, together with the local variety ‘Persica di Papigno’, as one of the most delicious and tasty peaches. The medium-large fruit ripens in late July. It has a round shape with a little pronounced umbo, evident suture line. The pulp is firm, with a distinctly yellow color tending towards orange, hence the name. Deep pink tomentose skin. Juicy and very aromatic, also suitable for syrup.
